I've got a dual socket7 MB that maxes out with the 233 MMX chip. Right now it has an old cyrix 6x86 166+ and acts as my firewall.

well, i have one, and if the k62 350 i have laying around works, then i might be able to let you buy it....
too bad i dont have a dual board...sounds sweet...
i will keep you in touch about how the 350 goes.
i dunno if you live near the northridge mall, but there is a place near there...that will most likely have some 233's around...
it is called computer revolution...
they sell new and used computer parts...
i bought my 233 chip there like 3 or 4 years ago.
and it is still working.
it was a new oem chip when i got it...

I recommend you move up to K6-2 400's. These can work on your board at 2.8v core or less with good cooling. 2x is interpreted as 6x by the CPU, so if you're limited to 66MHz bus speed, 6x66.6=400. You can find these CPU's on Pricewatch and at various venders including Compgeeks. You can underclock a faster CPU if needed.

I'll take them, I can add $10 to my $40 computers with them. PM me and I'll send you a pay-pal. If you embed the pins in a sheet of dense packing foam, you can just throw them in a padded envelope to ship them.
