counterstrike on asus 7100

when I play counterstrike I get a max 71 fps. It doesnt matter what resolution (1024*768 or 640*480 allways 71) used, fps stays the samme. I have a duron 800 and a asus 7100 (geforce 2mx). When I tweak my grafikcard to the maximum the max fps is still 71. Can anyone tell me what to do about it?

there is a console command for half life "fps_max" which is set by default at 72, so that you will never have any more than 72fps. just go into the console and type "fps_max 100" and you get 100 fps max. (100 is half life's internal max frame rate, unless you hack the pak file you can never go above 100)
