Read through the archives wrt memory cards. It seems that most makes of card
are susceptible to an occasional card that isn't read by an individual
machine so get a full money back guarantee, or try before you buy if going
to a shop.

I ordered from expansys paying £20 more for the pleasure but it listed as a
4150 accessory so I should be ok.

It gets pretty bizarre if you read some of the questions and answers at that
site. Specifically
Question / Problem
You say "Please note: This memory is not suitable for Compaq Ipaq
PDAs, and is not recommended for usage." I have an HP iPAQ (yep same company
and all that!) but it is a recent model the h1940. Does the warning still
hold?
Answer / Solution
Yes. The new Ipaq's and the old Ipaq's are still the same, and the
shape of these cards prohibits their use
The SHAPE? of these cards prohibits their use??

P.S. My iPaq 4155 has a 512 SD card in it. It happens to be a Kingston.

The comment seems to *only* refer to Scanflash (NOT Sandisk) memory.
I had some problems with a Dane Elec memory card I bought from Scan and it
took months *around 3 months from memory, and emails to the company owners*
to get it sorted. The card was eventually replaced by their own make and it
worked, but at around 1/2 to 1/3 of the speed of a Lexar card I have when
used in my pda.
I was told some time ago by someone at scan that the scanflash cards are
Dane Elecs with their own badge/name on, but don't personally know. They
possibly now get the cheapest possible card labelled as Scanflash, which may
not be the best or most reliable make.
