Just out of curiosity, I just got my Operton 175 here today and was wondering how good my stepping was and what I might be able to expect. I wish I could use it but I just found out my mobo was backordered when I ordered it so I will have to wait 1-2 weeks to see how good it OC's.

Stepping: CCBWE 0543 TPMW

EDIT: Something funny also happened to me. As soon as I took it out the box to check out the stepping, I dropped the thing on the floor. It was carpet so I hope it isn't broken. Plus it was in it's plastic thing too. (It was an OEM processor)

Week 43 steppings are too new for any info. To date, on dual cores, the best have all been from week 30.

If you have connections for workstation parts, you may be lucky. As of today, Amd is not shipping s939 opterons to the retail outlets.

The key words in my post were "as of today "(friday). Chips at retailers are the last, so get one now or forgetaboutit.
