Phoenix: only seen twice: in one of the missions and in one of the street
races. It is only available during the race itself, and as far as I know,
never spawns in the game at any other time.

Euros: only spawns at the pyramid-shaped casino during the time it is needed
for the import/export list. Never spawns. I'm not sure if it's available
to purchase at the export dock or not, anybody know?

Hotknife: Only spawns after getting all gold at the driving school.

Any more?

In GTA3 and VC, the Patriot is very common as it is used by civilians.

In SA however it seems to be a military only vehicle.

I have only seen it in the SF naval base and Area 69.

Never in LS or in LV.

Is that correct?

Yes. All the export vehicles are available for import, plus a few bonus
ones like the little hovercraft.

There's a patriot at the chemical plant overlooking Easter Basin, but
it's sometimes locked. I went firefighting last night to get one.

Then I flipped it.

Oh, you're probably right. I had probably unlocked the import/export
but was not actively looking for them at the time.

The Firefighter side-mission is fairly reliable at turning up a Patriot
at some point though, and is good for the bank balance as a
side-benefit as well as being fun.

I don't know if it is available but it appears during the casino heist
missions once and one also appears in the hospital grounds during The
mission where you have to capture the ambulance. It is also used by
the Yay during their drug runs but I don't think you can steal it
unless you fancy pushing it or happen to have a tow truck handy.

You can't find it driving on the streets with a normal person behind
the wheel

I think that one only becomes available when you're doing the first
part of the import export. If this is the case just keep checking back
in there and it will appear again. Once you have exported it it stops
spawning, or at least that's how I have found it to happen, someone
else may know differently

Sometimes the Infernus in NW SF is locked, sometimes it isn't. What gives?

heh, I was trying to recall where I had got one from early in the game
and it was during one of my usual miserable firefighter tries. I think
I was fed up and had reached about level three, but the guys who
jumped out of the patriot decided to run under a building! so I stole
their car instead

It's worth noting that this goes for all the cars on the I/E list; they
all disappear from parked locations when you've exported them (
It is available to import, but I forget which day it's available.

> Hotknife: Only spawns after getting all gold at the driving school.

It's possible to get a Hotknife with the 'Funhouse' cheat, although it
annoyingly adds hydraulics too.

> Any more?

Mr. Whoopee. Only ever seen four of these, all in the same location in
different games.

The Hot-Dog van is quite rare, but I know of at least two places you
can find one parked.

The BF-400 crops up whenever you least expect it, and I don't think
I''ve ever seen one parked. They seem to be mostly prevalent in San
Fierro though.

The Patriot very rarely spawns on the roads too. After delivering one
to the I/E crane the only place I know of to find one is the Easter
Basin naval base.

Faggio/Pizzaboy: Again, at least one parked location each, but very
rare to see them on the roads.

Cheers,
Rob

But when you do see them, they are all over the place - the faggio at least.

I needed a mesa to complete import/export and drove around* for ages trying
to find one. Eventually I gave up and carried on with the missions, only to
see one just as it disappeared into the sea at the LS beach. I noticed that
a whole bunch of faggios spawned at the same time, so I grabbed one, and
rode it back to my safe house. I managed to get a mesa, and exported it.

A few game sessions later, I got out the faggio and almost immediately ran
into a convoy of mesas - so it does look like vehicles spawn in groups.

* I was trying to complete i/e without referring to a map - just memory of
permanent spawns and seeing the cars on the road.

I've seen them near the military fuel dump, I think there may even be
one parked in there.

In the mission where you nick the Cargobob, a Patriot can get you
through the gates.

That Mesa can be awful to find, but you're right, they do seem to
spawn in massive groups. Worst find I had for this run was, believe it
or not the ZR 350! Because it shows up so often I decided to leave it
til last, well, should I say I didn't have any choice as during the
last set of exports I only saw the thing three times and twice it
escaped... and no others passed so it didn't spawn a small group of
them. I had all but given up and taken a slamvan for a bit of flying
over the hills below katie's and landed right on the roof of a ZR 350
and cop car together, so suddenly I have the car I want, a minor
shootout and a slamvan busily setting itself to explode on the roof
before I can get in and drive away - at least it was exciting! :O)

I'm not very good at that place, I don't actually think I even know
where it is and I've been playing this game virtually since it came
out :O)

Perhaps the residents have taken CJ's advice when he yells "CJ, just
you remember that" :eek:P

Honestly, I don't know. There seems to be a lack of car alarms too, but
certain parked vehicles ALWAYS have an alarm (The Packer in the north
of Las Venturas for example).

Going away and coming back makes the car respawn again. I presume the
game does this so it doesn't have to use extra memory trying to
remember it when it could be plotting the beautiful scenery instead.

If in doubt, blow it up. It'll always respawn a new one then.

Rob

I've had two Mr Whoopees tonight (unfortunately, in the game, not in real
life) and they were on-screen at the same time.

Seen the pizzaboy tonight.

All the above on the stretch of road around the LS beach.

Hmmmm - 14 attempts in four hours. Average time per attempt 17:09. Target
time 0:40.

I think I can see why you're struggling to get gold... Try not to drive like

The SWAT vehicle with the water cannon, I saw one of those in a photo

I've got one parked at Grove Street in my 100% save.

I stole it, stowed it, then blew it up in the garage in order to get
out of the mission. It's always been there when I've been back.

Err, that's 14th time in *different* 100% games....

:O) Did you get it as a prize or steal it during the mission? I stole
it once but when I went back to the garage it had gone
