my friend gave me money to buy for him that exact alienware, and 3 of those 2412 monitors. He will be happy.

Even on sale alienware isnt worth it. I build my dad a miniATX box with almost identical specs except with a 7770 instead of the 545, and it was just shy of $500. Nobody company comes close to price when you build your own pc, plus you get the reassurance that you built it yourself with quality parts

I completely agree with you, but my friend and I live in South America so he would run a higher risk purchasing the parts and having our logistic company send them to us down here to build it here. This is the reason he wants an X51 because they are supposed to be tested working. We wouldn't see the system until they arrive here.
