1.) How do you install 2x120mm fans? Any cutting/hole-making/how do you set it up to 1 in front and 1 in rear?

use a hole saw....

You will have to find what you need online and run to Home Depot and ask them for it....Also put a filter in the intake fans so you gont get dust bunnies.

Think your recommended fans/placement will fit in the HP (along with possible upgrades?). If so, I'll ask for it as a gift... Thanks for all the help man. -later 8)

All of your new stuff plus all then fans you could ever want will fit in the Lian Li case....The fans can be mounted externally if you need them to be....so i assume they will fit in the HP case.

Yeah, your HP case might be limited a little bit but they will let you use a video card, and they will have a couple HDD bays and such.

Usually its best to go with a new case because they are just a little easier to work with....they come with all the parts to load your machine up. HP, Dell, Gateway, and such dont come with all the screws you need to mount a HDD.
