I upgraded my 9600LE (Yeeeeuuuuch) to a 6600GT a few months ago, only to be faced with but a marginal performance improvement.

Just finally took the plunge and upgraded my old 1800+ A-XP to a P4 3.0 GHz Scotty running on an Intel 875PBZ MoBo. Was kind of limited in my choice of MoBo due to having to stick with AGP Architecture, but oh well - I guess it'll do for now.

I'm fairly impressed with the performance, (also throwing out the one little gremlin 256 MB memory module that was restricting the front-side to 266MHz) but I've had an ever-so-small nibble from the Overclock bug. After all, I've got a mammoth cooler on the CPU - leaving the case open is presents decibel levels remniscent of a large helicopter on take-off!

I'm sure Intel Boards won't exactly have unlocked multipliers - though, I'm sure there has to be SOME way of extracting a bit more from this setup?
