Ati drops MSRPs on X1300 and X1600 AGAIN...

According to a review I saw, as far as frames/dollar goes the X1300 PRO is currently the best performing card for the dollar on the planet but it will soon be cheaper...
From now on, the suggested retail pricing will be:

RADEON X1600 XT 256MB will be $179
RADEON X1600 PRO 256MB will cost $129
RADEON X1300 PRO will cost $99
RADEON X1300 will cost $79

As much of a bad rap as the X1600 has gotten - and still isn't even available - a 12-pipe card for $129 would be pretty nifty.

Stil not sure why they haven't been released. Maybe they want to optimize the drivers before they're on the street...

What do you mean the X1600 isn't available? They have them here and we get everything five years after everyone else. They also have them at newegg.

Really? I have to check newegg out more often.

I usually check pricewatch to see if cards are available. Bad habit I guess.

Oh yeah.

Though theres only one brand of XT and PRO, also at the new prices.

Zipzoomfly also has them.....for $600! , good luck selling them.

I've also seen them at few other places, can't remember where now.
