I have a pc running nt 4.0 workstation service pack 6. The Display
properties, Settings, Screen resolution was recently changed without first
testing to a higher resolution. The machine was rebooted and now there is no
video. "Sync. Out of Range" dos Dialogue Box is all that shows on the screen
when the machine boots. No safe mode, so how do I fix this problem? Help
please.

Boot vga mode, then Control Panel|Display to set it back to something the
monitor can handle.

you will have to just "guess" when it is booting, do a down arrow and enter
to get into vga mode

Not necessary. The operating system display properties wouldn't affect the
boot loader screen.
