Including myself :)

This happened after I turned on replication service . I have followed
instructions in MS- manual(s) on how to replicate between PDC and BDC
.. I created an account for user "repl "gave this account full control
of the "repl" - share on both PDC and BDC . For good measurement -
although this shouldnt be necessary I also gave it permissions on the
subfolders .

I made sure the service was started using this account as login and
the password didn't expire ( basically the account logs on as service
) . I have checked the replication and it doen't seem to work . I
have placed the ntconfig.pol in the repl-folder .I wasn't sure if this
was a necessity but I copied it into the replication-folder on the PDC
..

So I have a netlogon-share on both PDC and BDC . It all checks out ,
but I'm ending up with all users reverting to the default user-profile
regardless of account-policies . Using this profile they can still
access their programs and documents but not from within the start-menu
.. I have also noticed my own - adminstrative - account has reverted
back to default -user account ( for instance : I have no programs
listed in the start-menu and no control-panel ) . I can't ascertain
what went wrong here - everything checks out as described in MS -
manual but it still doesn't work . Anyone know what is going on here
??
