I just bought an off-lease HP D4100E tower (3500-64 cpu, 6200 256pci-ex, 2gb ram)...The on-board sound (real-tek) is impossible. I've downloaded the drivers from the HP website, but when I try to install them, it mentions I need the Microsoft High definition UAA drivers first.. I can't find these anywhere! I've tried microsoft update (win xp pro), and found nothing, even using the custom option. Anyone have any ideas? All I can find on this is update 888111 but it doesn't seem to help.
Thanks in advance.
