-- I have an NT4 workstation with SP6 box with all the updates that decided
to stop showing the log on box. No ctrl-alt-delete. Just the NT backdrop
that shows up just before you normally get the ctrl-alt-delete popup. Tried
bringing it up in VGA mode and still the same thing.

Try holding the Shift key down just prior to where you would expect the log
in box to appear. I know it works if you auto login the PC but I'm not sure
if it will help you out in this situation. Just an idea?
