if you buy a graphics card i.e radeonx800gt from a retailer in america, me being from ireland would there be any problems with the card because of it being 230watts in ireland or any other problems i have a dell dimension 4700 PCIe x16 card slot plz plz help its important. thanks

Are you mixing up watts and voltage? US uses 110 volt; Europe uses 220 volt

The video card from US should work.

the difference :america is 110v and europe 230v
the powersupply manage this difference with a switch in the back.110/230

the voltage to the computer components are the same for both locations.
