On a NT4 Server SP6a the spooler service keeps failing. A
number of network printers are attached HP & Lexmark.
The service crashes every 15 minutes.
Any Ideas?

A misbehaving driver can cause that. Is there anything being logged in the
Event Log? Can you narrow it down to when a job gets sent to a specific
printer?

For troubleshooting, a painful but systematic procedure would be to remove
the various printer drivers and isolate the one that is causing the problem.
Look here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;135406

I'd start with the Lexmark drivers :)
