I had a problem recently with some fonts which I hope you
will be able to help me get an explanation for.

The fonts I was using were 'Bulgarian' fonts by WorldFonts.
On a WindowsNT Workstation, in C:\winnt\fonts I had many
fonts, two of which were 'WFBulgarian' and 'WFBulgarian1
Italic'. Both True Type fonts.
When you navigate to the Fonts folder and open a font
file, a window opens displaying the name of the font and
an example of the text.

On a particular Workstation, when I opened
the 'WFBulgarian' font file, the name of the font
displayed in the window was 'Bulgarian1 Italic'. On
opening the 'WFBulgarian1 Italic' font file, the name of
the font displayed in the window was also 'Bulgarian1
Italic'.

Only on deleting the WFBulgarian1 Italic font file from
the Fonts folder, would the correct font name, Bulgarian1,
be presented when opening the WFBulgarian1 font file.

Do you have any explanation for this?

Thanks in advance for your help,
John.
