I am attempting to change the spool folder to a network share\drive.
Technical details...
At first i tried to change it by:
1. entering the printers and faxes
2. server properties
3. advanced tab
4. spool folder
I attempted changing it to.. h:\my example
h:\my example is a mapped network drive to this share: \\myExample\my
example.
Windows does not allow me and gives me the following error:
server spool directory location is invalid.
I then attempted to change the following registry keys:
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\specific
printer\SpoolDirectory
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\DefaultSpoolDirectory
Restarted the service....
After restarting the service and attempting to print... the spool
directory still used the default directory for spooling.
Is there any possibility to use a network drive\share for spooling in
windows 2000\xp\nt?

May I first ask why you'd want to do that? You can incur significant
performance problems, especially for large print jobs or for a print server.
