I'm not sure you'll find an answer here. I would try emailing their tech support.

have you tried plugging a mouse into the ps/2 port and then re-attaching the copperhead after windows has booted? also, try a usb->ps2 adaptor.

hi, you have to email here: betadrivers@razerzone.com
and ask for the beta 6.1.7i firmware drivers. i installed them and they seem ok at the moment.
if you have any more problems with the mouse let us know
does anyone else think this mouse is worth £50?

I have the problem of not being able to use the copperhead in any other usb port than the one in which I initially installed the mouse. Usually I can plug any usb device in any port and XP does the behind-the-scenes tasks to get it to work.

Did you switch ports and forget? I guess if you uninstall the drivers/software and reinstall to the port you want, that could work.

I hope I'm being helpful.

I had the same problem!

Wait till you've had it a few weeks, the lenses will start to get dirty, and skip, and stutter.

I took mine back and got me the Logitech G5! I am so happy I did too!

Good luck with that crap mouse.

I posted about this problem already, but put in wrong area, AMD!
