On the other hand, all those components will fetch a nice price on eBay should you decide to upgrade. You'll get a nice return. Go to eBay and search for all those components; see how much they're going for.
It runs games fine. I just have some extra cash that I can put in to it for some upgrades if I find something I want. I was thinking of maybe adding another 6800GT and a 250 gig Wd Caviar drive. Was also thnking about speeding some money on a good lcd screen maybe the dell 24 inch one not sure though.
If you get another card it should be a 7800GT - you can get it for around the same price as a 6800GT and it will outperform the SLId 6800GTs. What monitor are you using right now? What is your budget?
I would get a better video card, like the 7800GT as mentioned if you are a Nvidia fan. What type of games do you like to play though? Get a nice mouse and mousepad if you like to play FPS'. The Logitech G5, and a Banshee Pad (Bansheepad.com) make a good combo. The Dell 24in. is nice, but I don't care much for widescreens, not sure how it would look trying to play an FPS.
Not sure which monitor have all I can remember is that its 17" lcd that I got from Best Buy. I would tell you what it is but Im out of town. My budget is around $1500. As far as games goes I play World of Warcraft alot. I also play FPS and real time stragey games.
Hey there is nothing wrong with your system, just get a 19" lcd at least with a fast response time and good color etc. and I don't see why but if you want a better graphics card I agree with whoever recommended the single 7800gtx instead of going SLI
