i have an amd 3700+ (754) and im just wondering about overclocking... the default clock is 2.4, has anybody overclocked this card and how high have you gotten it to? also what is a really top temp for a CPU, speedfan says mines running at 50 C full load, mobo is running at 29 C is this hot average or cold? i know my old amd 2400+ ran at 30 C...

Chaintech nforce3 mobo (dont know specs on it at the moment...)
1 gb (2 x 512) corsair xms 2-3-3-6
WD 160 gb
connect 3d 9600pro (256 mb)
450 watt ps
amd 3700+ 2.4 ghz

I easily got my a64 4000 to a stable 3.0Ghz but I am using a mobo that has a built in micro processor and program that is specially for overclocking so I'm not so sure about a 3700, at least 2.9Ghz if not more.

AMD Athlon 64 4000+(Overclcked to stable 3.06Ghz)
1 Gb OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8
Maxtor 300 Gb SATA
ABIT AN8-SLI
ATI Connect 3D X850XT
500W Ultra PSU

I've gotten my 3700+ (Socket 939, 2.2 ghz default) up to 2.7 ghz on air quite easily, and it can probably go higher, but not too high. You might be able to reach 3 ghz if you're lucky.
