Forum Windows 7 : Security Windows 7 task manager and regedit disabled

Hello,
I've received a private sale computer with windows 7. It appears the task manager and regedit have been disabled by the administrator. I have administrator status of the machine. Am currently running several anti virus / anti spyware programs, but would be very grateful for any help with restoring the functionality of regedit, task manager, and any other potentially affected items. Thank you in advance for any help

Most likely had spyware at one point but it is gone but left those items turned off in the registry. I recomend either reloading Windows or Running Spybot search and destroy sometimes it will fix registry items that have been messed with.

+1 Download, install, update and run a full scan with Malwarebytes (malwarebytes.org) as well.
