I think the FSP would have more raw clean power.

ok thanks also.. Should i pick one with dual 12v rail or does that not even matter for my setup? thanks

Dual rails are a plus, regardless of build. Definately opt for dual rails for more stable power.

I differ with Rich, I consider it not a big deal to have 1 or 2 12v rails - 2x12v @ 16A+ or 1x12V @ 20A+ makes for stable enough power. Intel updated their spec in the fall and dual rail wasn't a requirement any more.

Many times what the engineers (using the term loosely in this case) did was make a single large 12v source of power, then split it with 2 current limiters - so its still 1 12v line and a spike on 1 will effect the other. I would hope not everyone did this but...

Do you suggest i go with the froston source 530 watt mike aka the fishman? :)

Why pay $110 for a 500 watt, when you can get a quality FSP 530 watt for $75

If style over power and cost is of more importance, then paying 50% more for less power makes sense...

I like Fortron Source. That's a good PSU.

That kinda reminds me of Mozz...he watercools, but custom made his cooling systems. Ran one of his rigs over to a freezer and then had copper tubing coiled in there....crazy bastage.
