At first I found myself calling it "cute". It's not a giant technological
leap forward from Dreamfleet's Cardinal but it has dozens of new little
tricky features: The seat backs flip down to access the cargo area, the
table folds out, the window vent flips open... and many more little
surprises.
The total package is very ergonomic, all of the panels are functional and
easily accessed. The 2-D "landing panel" allows a 50% forward view. The
sound file is excellent. The exterior model is outstanding (but not as
perfect as the Aeroworx King Air).
The surprising value is the inclusion of the RealityXP Garmin GNS430 with
99% functionality and the RealityXP weather radar. If you haven't used
these yet you'll find they open a whole new dimension to the sim.
As for what's really important, the flight dynamics engine is great! -
Easily on par with a RealAir product. - Peter can tell us how close to the
real thing they are, but to me, I can't find any of the common warts. It
slips, but I couldn't get it to spin.
The real bottom line: It is fun to fly!... which is a subjective statement
describing the total package and IMO it's well worth the $25 bucks.
