Cannot open google earth in windows 7

Hello,
my google earth downloads, with icon on desktop and listed in program files. But when I click on it will not open. I have a gateway with windows 7.

I had the same problem. Remove Earth and then re-install it and it should work fine.

Something else you might try - I've noticed that if you zoom in with Google Maps on satellite you get a closer clearer image than with Earth - try it!
