hi,
right after i installed a wireless card on my w 2000 professional laptop it stopped allow me to browse the internet.
Still I can ping other pc on my lan, but I'm not able to see any web page, not even using numeric addressess.
I've uninstalled the wireless card, I removed any protocol, rebooted and installed back everything but still I cannot manage to see web pages.
My lan address is 192.168.0.x, gw is 192.168.0.1; I can ping 192.168.0.1, ping anything outside, browse the lan,
but I cannot resolve symbolic addresses (dns client is enabled) and I cannot see web pages, both inside and outside the lan.
Is this situation anyway connectet with the installation of the wireless network adapter? how can it be that nslookup doesn't work anymore? (the same dns servers are working on other pc)
Last, dhcp client doesn't work, I need to put manually an ip address.
it can be anyway related to a virus/worm??
help!
