I am having problems with browsing a certain subnet on our
network. Out of 6 subnets it is the only one not showing
up in the network browser. All machines connected to this
subnet are not showing up. I have verified that they are
registered in the WINS database, and have stopped and
started the WINS service with no luck. I have ran NBTSTAT -
RR a few of the machines that are on that subnet and also
rebooted them and still no luck. We had this problem about
a month ago with the same subnet but it cleared up on its
own within a couple of days. the DNS names are registered
and I can ping them without any issues. I dont understand
how all other subnets can be working and this one not.

The problem subnet is 25.0
The WINS server is on 20.0

Even on a server that is on the 25 side I can not browse
anything on the 25 subnet.

Any ideas?

I solved the issue myself. It turned out to be a corupt
master browser on the 25 subnet. I stopped the browser
service on the problem server and used browstat to monitor
where it went next. The new server picked up the role as
browse master and this solved the issue.
