Im going to build a new gaming machine and I am trying to keep the pice below 1.5k. What I have so far is based on the nforce 4 IE mobo becuase of the execelent overclocking possibilities. I would like some commens on my current build: suggestions, comments, and changes.
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal (nforce4)
CPU: Intel P4HT 650
GPU: nvidia 7800 GTX (I don't know what brand to chose)
RAM: xms2-6400 Black (Corsair 2x512 dual channel tested)
HD: Westen Digital Raptor & large storage dirve (250 gig)
Power: Antec 550 Watt
After viewing the charts I can see that amd dominates most every catagory over intel. although I still think prive v. performance the Intel 650 is the best bet. Any comments would be nice.
