:D hi, and happy holidays!
I have a question. Would I be able to install win xp on the sata hd, and boot from it, and use my pata harddisks as data drives?

I'm using a k7s5a pro motherboard, and a Sabrent Silicon Image Serial ATA 2-Port SATA RAID PCI Controller Host Card Adapter. My pata drives are a wd cavier 160gb, and a segate 4gb hd.

plz, plz, plz help me.

Yes, you can install XP with only SATA drive in it, after installed, you can add the PATA drive, and use for data/whatever.
