Xeon and PF are absolutely right. I was a staunch antiMMORPG person after having been burned by the abortion that was Ultima Online. I picked this up because I liked the setting and my limited gaming time has been usurped by WoW. I got HL2 for Christmas, vowed not to play it until I finish Doom 3. Since I haven't touched Doom 3 because of WoW poor HL 2 collects dust in the corner along with an unplayed Far Cry. Damn you, Blizzard! If you like MMORPGs and the Warcraft setting (not necessarily the games since I'm not an RTS player), get this game. I have no qualms with the monthly fee at this point.
