So far my computer is going to be:

nVidia 6800 gt
asus a8n-e motherboard
amd 64 3700 1mb l2cache
and some other stuff.

What power supply would be sufficient enough for this rig? I don't want any extra features just something that's not going to kill the componants in the computer or blow itself up.

If you have any other ideas about this computer lemmee know!

Thanks.

A very good quality 300 watt would suffice, but I would choose 400watts would be better.

Pick one of these, good quality at greater prices!

Of the ones listed there I would go with this FSP 450W

I would suggest getting this for your system 510W PS.

Admittedly you will spend more for this one, but it will be better to have more power now when you don't need it than to have not enough when it counts.
This is the one area of your system that you shouldn't skimp on.

I like the new Enermax Liberties. They have 400W, 500W and 620W versions and it's a new PSU. Also Enermax is a good brand so you know your getting quality.

A 400 Watt PSU is plenty for your rig. Enermax and Antec are both good.
