Does anyone know if there is a way to Create a Reservation in a DHCP scope
without needing to have the MAC address and the equipment on the network?

Overview: I'm getting ready for a network rollout over my current
configuration. To prepare, I would like to reserve a number of IP address on
my network, without reconfiguring the scope, for equipment I do not have yet.
It seems to me that NT 4.0 will not let you create a reservation unless you
give a MAC address and it can talk to the client, is there a way around this?

Thanks for any help

Mike
