Ditto on that.

Called my Dad, found out he and my mother are doing a bit of a concert at Chalet Suzanne in Lake Wales, FL. . . getting a great meal for it, I can't top that.

My brother and I grabbed some Phils tickets for our grandfather (88 years old now)-- he doesn't get out much, so it'll be good to get him to a ballgame for a bit.

Lastly, the wife picked up the PDGA Tour Bag I'd been pining for some time. . . Now all I need is a course to play at.

Small hills overlooking highways make for great driving ranges. Trade the

Happy Belated Father's Day Tom... who ever and where ever your kids are.. no one really knows.

Don't deny your status as a father, somewhere.

Reply to Riser

Happy belated fathers day all you fathers out there.

I'm exhausted... cleaned up dads house top to bottom this weekend for him while I was watching the house, from pulling out all the furniture to washing all the walls, to cleaning the cars.

*passes out

Can't wait to go to the lake and do it all there now :P

Why not????? I went through this whole drill with my kids once before.... Now it's their turn!!!! Oh & I'll make them buy me the beer as well....

I like to get even now & again... When my son bought his first house, he had us over to show it off, he was so proud..... I got out of the truck, they were in the front yard, & threw down a bag of Mickey D's trash on the lawn.... My son looked at me & said what did you do that for????? I said, that's what you did in my yard all the time you were growing up.....

 went off in my son's head & he's never forgotten it!!!!

My father's day?

My dad says he wants nothing. I said I'd pick him up some good steaks and we can grill out.

"nah, I don't want a steak. I'm good just as long as you don't get into an accident on your motorcycle..."

Um, I haven't told my dad yet and I don't plan on it. He's a big alcoholic and I'm the favored one in the family to do well in life. Wouldn't want my dad to go back into his heavy drinking stages knowing I... fell?:)

This is it. I placed the beer-drinking bench swing between the trampoline, pool,
sandbox, and slides to assure no need to get up...except for more beer.

Not quite finished, still needs stain and what looks like a chimney will be cut
to look like a castle with a window. Barbie castle is the girls wish...so it must be
done...sigh.

Your back yard looks like mine... Large deck w/ pool, shed, garden, berm w/ bushes and flowers, jungle gym and swingset... All on a 1/4 acre!

Reply to JustPlainJef

Come on down. I'm off this week too. You could earn some nice dough
if we could get you on the trampline...after you get out of the pool, of course!

Reply to KingLoftusXII

Yeah just 150'x150'. Hate it. New construction area and they mow down all the trees. Sigh...

When the wife goes back full-time we want to move 3 towns northwest. 10 acres
can be had for $65g's...with a stream. It's like living in a fishbowl here.

I had to drop $1800 on a 18'x11'6" motorized awning for some freakin' shade
on the deck. Bastards.

Reply to KingLoftusXII

I was out west (Wyoming I think) and they had 20 acres ranches for $500 / acre! Too bad it was in the middle of nowhere (hence the price)...

Reply to JustPlainJef

What do you think, $0.50 / bounce?

Maybe $1.00 per bounce if she's topless?

Backyard looks great!!!

You could really cut loose here.... I've got an acre & my son has almost that much...... My sub is called Green Acres because it was laid out in acre lots... They also planted maple trees in to front of all the lots... I've got 6 mature maples because I've got a corner lot.... Sub was laid out in the 40s... Newer homes on my side & older ones on the other side.... I built 12 years ago... Pretty great neighborhood, really....

Wouldn't it technically be $3? Since, I'm personally jumping... and how much for each additional jiggle??

I could be holding up some cash cows here! (heehee)

Thanks man. It's been a lot of work from the level area of dirt 6 years ago!

When friends say they want to build a house so they don't have to do anything
I just laugh...
