FS9 textures in FS8 (and other terrain stuff)

Archived from groups: alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim (More info?)

Do you spend more time tinkering with Sim that flying [it]? With both
FS8 and FS9.. the files can be sorted and mixed with good results.


Have been digging more into and organizing the Terrain Textures, plus
DISPLAY settings in the cfg. The following screen caps were taken, out
of Tri-City, Tennessee heading East-NorthEast towards Washington D.C.

This one looks down on Narrows, VA ... and just above is
Peterstown, WEST VIRGINIA!! Astonishing really!!
...considering the modest hardware platform.
