Hi, I am one of several users on a pc at work. I have NT 4.0 workstation
and I use IE6.0 to search the web. Everything was fine until last week
sometime my favorites shortcut, on the toolbar, changed target location. It
used to lead to "C:\WINNT\Profiles\"user name"\Favorites" (location A) and
now it leads to "C:\WINNT\Favorites" (Location B) . I found several (two
I think) entries in the registry where it showed location B instead of A.
But when I changed them in the registry and opened up a new browser the
favorites still led to location B. And when I went back to the registry,
all the changes were set back to location B as well. Can anyone help me
out with this?
thanks-epi
