I was recently talking to a computer professor that told me that there is a
way to change the buffer size for my modem. I was told that it should match
4 times the speed of the connection. The problem is that I looked and am not
completly sure where and how to make the change. He also told me I would
have to make this change is Hex. It there anyone that could tell me how I
would go about doing this? My connect seems to drag and I know I am getting
about 3-4 times faster with my DSL then with my 56k modem. Also I am on
Windows 98 SE if that helps.
Thank you much for your help,
