How to open 16 pipelines on ATI RADEON X800 PRO AGP

I apologize if this information already resides in the forums here somewhere else but as of yet have not been able to find them.

I am currently looking at purchasing the above listed video card "ATI RADEON X800 PRO AGP 256MB DDR" as an upgrade to my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.

To my understanding I should be able to find the bios flash to this card to upgrade the 12 pipelines to the 16 pipelines.

Does anyone know where i can get this download. Again I've been told and read elsewhere it's a flash upgrade and should not have to go through any kind of third party software and/or pencil type mods etc...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

this will only work with the vivo x800pro card. i remember finding it at anandtech in the forums section on video cards. dont know if it is still there or not. i did this about a year ago. it changed my x800pro to an x800 xt pe. good luck.

if you can still find them get a x800 gto2 card, they use an x850 xt core and can be modded to that with 100% suscess rate, i think http://overclockers.co.uk sells them if your from the uk, and they have a guide on how to mod them to 16 pipelines

GTO2 is a PCI Express card. He has a AGP slot since he is upgrading from a 9800Pro.
