I have two hard drives on my machine, and am running out of space on the master. There is plenty of room on the slave drive.
I was wondering if there is any way to benchmark the degree of latency/lag (if any) for the slave drive as compared to the master?
The machine will be used to play Steam games (like Counter-Strike) and I was thinking of moving the game installation over to the slave drive; but for gaming (especially FPS games) otherwise trivial lag can become very noticeable, so I was wondering if there was any way to test the lag beforehand prior to moving a 20GB install.
