How to find out if HDD is sata or ide?

Most certain way is open your case and look:

Sata looks like this: http://www.tomshardware.com/2005/11/23/pc_interfaces_10...
Older computers will have only ide, newer ones prob use sata but they can have both.
Can also check in the bios
