Unload the Debugger and Try Again - Cannot Start FS2004

On a Windows 2000 box, starting today everytime I start FS2004 I
get:

"Unload the Debugger and Try Again"

I cannot start FS2004. I have not installed any new software on
this machine since the last time I ran FS2004.

What could cause this error to start appearing out of nowhere?

Try this site.

The causes of your problem may not be what they say. But you can possible
use their fixes.

I had tried that site already. My guess at this point is that I
have a virus or Trojan, and I'm trying to locate it now.

I may have to resort to finding the no-CD hack for 9.1. Can
someone point me to a no-CD hack that works with the service pack
version of FS2004 (9.1, NOT 9.0).

It can be found in several places, but here's one I found after a bit
of googling:

fs9 v9.1 NoCD:

What's the deal with a $5 lifetime registration fee? Their
administrative overhead to process that must exceed the revenue
itself. Bizarre.
