I'm looking for a budget notebook and i keep stumbling acros these 2 cards.
I know i wont be able to run Half Life 2..., but still which is better???

That's like choosing between:

1. midget, or
2. a retarded, crippled midget.

The X300 is the regular midget. It'll even run Half Life 2, but You'll be stuck at 800x600 or below methinks.

Try and get a laptop with a X700 or at least a X600.
