Hi all
I was just curious to see if anybody has tried Morphing a DFI nForce4 Ultra into nForce4 SLI board and if so have you had any probs and what technique did you use. Looking at buying another msi 7800gxt to sli but don't want to buy another board if i don't have to

I didn't do the DFI but I did do the eVGA board, it worked perfectly.

nVidia made their chips "un-moddable" by putting a blob of epoxy over the bridge. I scraped the blob of epoxy off and joined the bridges with a #2 pencil. Worked fine.

Thats excellent news.
I acually just found an article in regards to the dfi board i got and they say the same as yourself. That is that it works perfectly, however the only setback so it seems is that nvidia have cottoned onto it and that you can only use drivers 66.75 or earlier.Whether this is true or not i am yet to find out. I'mTrying to win another msi 7800gxt on ebay at the moment so i can find out for myself.
Thanks
