My father recently purchased a computer from his work
with Windows NT 4.0 workstation on it. I have been trying
to upgrade to Windows XP but it will not let me. Does
anyone know how I can delete/format the hard drive and
start from scratch with the installation of Windows XP? I
have tried the boot from CD-rom. If anyone can help me
please let me know!

Thanks,
Steve

Booting the CD-Rom will allow you to delete the existing partition prior to
the XP install. Chances are the hardware may be too old though.
