Anyone have directions on how to clean the waste pads on this printer?
Thanks

When you say waste pads do you mean the ones typically under the printer
that store all the old ink that is vacuumed out of the heads during
cleaning cycles, or the small pads that are at the head cleaning
station, where the heads park when the printer is turned off?

For the larger waste pads, the cleaning process is quite messy and most
people either replace them with the correct Epson part ordered from a
parts depot or service depot, clean them in a large bucket replacing the
water numerous times and then allowing them to dry, or use disposable
diapers as a substitute.

Getting to the area is a bit tricky on some models since they are
usually under most of the printer's guts, including the paper transport.

The small head cleaning station pads (if your printer has them, some
just have a small funnel like arrangement) can be carefully removed and
cleaned, but it really isn't necessary as you can just drop some
cleaning fluid in there and flush the system with a few head cleanings.
