Hello All,

Recently I transfered MSFS from one machine to another using the method I've
seen suggested in this NG, a fresh install and then copy the directory
across.

Everything is fine except that some aircraft no longer have working ATC. I
can get the menu up for ground control, but I get no response from the key
presses.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks

Jon

Have you installed DirectX on the new machine? Google for where to get it.

Carl,

The latest version of DirectX is on the machine. Also it's happening to
some aircraft and not others...

Regards

Jon

Do you hear other traffic? I not, could it be the avionics switch is off.
Sounds very basic, I know, but many TV repair guys have made house calls
only to find the plug out of the wall.

Carl,

The latest version of DirectX is on the machine. Also it's
happening to some aircraft and not others...

Did you also copy your fs9.cfg file and others found at:

C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9

And it might help to also copy over the Flight Simulator files from
you're my Documents folder as well.

Cheers!
