Im using only one drive at the moment and is setup as RAID 0.From what I read,in order to use any raid array u need at least 2 drives. However if i dont use this RAID option,I cant boot up.So i configure it to bootable drive using RAID otherwise I cant install OS.seems wierd??????now ive gone into windows and all.so im confuse with this RAID THING sinve im using one drive, how is this possible, and technically im not using RAID,do i need driver?if i leave my set up like this, and install my mobo and gfx drivers without the sata driver via floppy, will windows able to run properly???
Thanks.

Why make it simple when it can be done easy!!!

Take your manual ..

then read your manual..especially the BIOS part..

Go in the BIOS, disable RAID for all the SATA connector..

this board don't need any drivers for SATA drives.. I had it, so don't argue..

But now, there is some data for RAID written on the drive. That may confuse the controller and not let you load Windows.. reinstall..

Oh.. You se how I make use of blank line in my post...?

Don't you think it makes thing more readable?
