I have a bit of an issue with my Linksys wireless router (BEFW11S4). I disabled SSID broadcasting yet it still broadcasts. I have upgraded to the latest firmware yet it still broadcasts. Anyone experienced a similiar issue? I used Netstumbler to determine that it was still broadcasting. I'm a bit security minded which is why I would like to determine if this is a config issue on my part or a defective product on Linksys's part. Thanks.

not sure why it's still broadcasting, but disabling SSID broadcasting only slow the very casual browser. It's more important to enable WEP, MAC filtering etc.

Oh, I've done MAC filtering and enabled encyption. Its just still a pain to know that its broadcasting when its supposedly disabled. What else isn't working. Thanks though.
