Looking for Advice, it's been awhile since I built a machine. After reading reviews the specs below are what I came up with for my budget. Does this look okay, are there any glaring errors ? ;-)

Also I notice that the graphics cards only has DV-I output's, will this work okay with a standard CRT monitor if I get an adapter? If so any recommendations on brands of adapter?

Many Thanks

Rich

Don't go for dual core if you want a game machine get a 64 bit maybe a 3500+ (i seem to be repeating myself very often, see the other game building topics). Sli is always nice to have but it can prove slower than single cards quite often so go for a single but very good GPU. Dual core is nice but it is not made for running the frames right out of a game.

Okay based on that advice/more reading of reviews i'll probably switch the processor to:

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor - Retail

About the same price.

I don't really need the SLI, but I do like that particular mobo alot, the last time I built I settled for a board that wasn't up to scratch, maybe I'm overcompensating with this one ;-) I'm not skimping with the board this time!
