I'm sure this is asked a million times a day... feel free to point me to a faq. Anyway if I were to get a DSL line, for example from http://www.dslbuyers.com/home_dsl.html, what kind of hardware would I need to share the line between 2 or more computers (ideally, they would both be able to access the internet simultaneously). Would this be the same for Cable?

only if your ISP give you multiple static IP's, which I doubt is the case.

If I can elaborate a little...

A multi-port router with a built in switch is very nice for keeping PC to PC transfers fast. If you get one with a built in switch, make sure it's 10/100 (and gets NICs to match).

My router also has a built in ADSL modem, but I dunno if this is your kinda thing.
