Memory installation on K8V Deluxe

Hi

I recently purchased a 1024 MB stick of Corsair XMS 3200 DDR ram to go along with my two sticks of 512 MB of Corsair XMS 320 DDR.

However, when I install the new stick, I get an eroor of boot up that says drim dram timing mismatch.

Is this memory configuration compatible with the K8V Deluxe?

check the vendor support list at asus site for you mobo and see if the ram is supported mite need to flash bios, but be careful if you flash read the instructions carefully, and if have a hard time, theres plenty of people here that can help you figure it out

before you flash try loosening up the timings on the RAM, just looks like the new stuff is trying to be set at the lower latency cause thats what the other two sticks use.
