Ok i just got an amd 64 and im trying to get my drivers for my radion 9600 to work. Do i need to install the win xp 64 os or can i still use xp pro? when trying to get the drivers installed my whole system just goes crazzy with graphics and i cant see any thing. Its like your drunk and trying to look at the computer. Any help would be great.

If you've got an AMD 64, you do not need to install the 64 bit Windows. Few things take advantage of 64 bit (far as I know), and drivers for some things can be a pain. Some games don't work at all (ex. Silent Hunter III, I've heard).

I don't know if this is the driver problem or not, but if you've still got normal XP installed, you cannot use the 64 bit drivers. Just regular drivers.
